A dedicated server is used by you alone. This system is not shared with other clients or other users. There is absolute freedom of choice regarding which operating systems to use, which software to use, as well as who will or will not have access to your server. A dedicated server is ideal for things as web hosting, data storage, back-up services, data streaming, etc.

Virtual servers too, allow absolute freedom of choice with regard to software, operating systems, and users. Virtual servers and dedicated servers are almost the same, the only difference, however, lies in parts which make up the physical system. Virtual servers are perfectly suited for lighter websites, back-ups, secondary mail or DNS servers, etc.

Your privately purchased hardware can be stored in one of our racks at low costs. We provide colocation for single servers up to complete suites. For our clients abroad, we also offer the so-called "managed colocation". This entails the clients sending us their equipment, for us to connect, or even install if need be.

Qirus also offers Usenet services under the name ‘BitNews’. These services are available for end users as well as (white-label) resellers. Downloading via Usenet is legal in the Netherlands; and it may be a good addition to your current services.
